The clients had no idea how they wanted to communicate their Houston oil & gas branding, but they had excellent taste. Looking back on this, I’m so glad they chose this option and not the others – funny how a look far back in the catalog will do that to a brand designer.
They knew they wanted sharp, corporate and clean, but something that was a bit bold, as much of oil and gas is branded in a very sterile manner. I chose the colors for a number of reasons, but they were meant to satisfy all of the above.

The craziest thing about this project is how quickly it was done. From start to finish, the Houston oil and gas branding project took seven days. I had a friend helping with some of the production work, and without him, none of that would’ve been possible. The Precision team was in a big hurry, and they paid the additional fees for the sleepless nights, but it still remains one of the quickest turnarounds for any project of this scope.
